Faith Over Fear: Reflecting on a Year of Blooming and the Call to Arise in 2026
What a year it has been. What a God we serve. And what a time to be alive.
As I reflect on this past year in the Bloomers Community, my heart is filled with gratitude and awe. We began the year with a clear word from God: faith over fear. It wasn’t just a theme—it became our anchor.
We stood firmly on 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV):
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
That word was tested—both personally and collectively. Yet in every season, God showed Himself faithful. We saw Him move through testimonies of women securing jobs, experiencing healing, receiving financial breakthroughs, and watching debt be cancelled. These were not coincidences; they were confirmations of what happens when women choose faith and walk together in community.
The Power of Community and Consistency
One of the greatest gifts God has given us is community. This year, we witnessed the beauty of showing up consistently—even when it wasn’t easy.
We gathered faithfully for Friday night prayers, Tuesday morning prayers, and weekly intercession. We studied Scripture together during our Bible study hangouts and stretched our faith through Bloomers in Business, believing God not only for spiritual growth but for clarity and courage in our careers and businesses.
Our second cohort of the Bloomers Discipleship Program successfully completed their journey, and from that space of growth, we launched the Seeds of Change Campaign at St. Charity School in Ibex—a reminder that discipleship always overflows into service.
In December, we came together for our Annual Bloomers Picnic, a beautiful moment to honour and celebrate our volunteers, leaders, and disciples. It was a moment of reflection, joy, and gratitude for all God has done.
To the Hands and Feet of This Community
To our volunteers—thank you.
Thank you for your yes, your commitment, and your willingness to serve. This year was not about perfection; it was about progress. It was about choosing Christ even when fear or self-doubt tried to speak louder.
Pause for a moment and honour yourself. The best is yet to come.
We do not graduate from serving Christ—we simply continue following Him, step by step, to see more of His glory. As you move into 2026, whether your journey continues with Bloomers or leads you elsewhere, may you be blessed in your going and in your coming. May everything you touch prosper. It has truly been an honour to walk with you this year.
To Our Leaders: Seen by God, Rewarded by Heaven
To our committed leaders—you are a gift.
Thank you for every planning session, every meeting, every vision conversation, and every act of stewardship. God sees your faithfulness, even in moments when it felt unseen. And He will reward you in ways no person ever could.
I know it wasn’t easy. I know it wasn’t perfect. But progress in Christ always carries reward. What’s ahead is even greater, and I am expectant for what God is about to do as we continue walking together.
To the Community: Come Out of Hiding
To every woman in our community—this is your invitation.
In 2026, come out of hiding. You belong here. You matter. You make a difference simply by participating. Whether through prayer, Bible study, Bloomers in Business, vision planning, or simply showing up, you are part of what God is building.
No matter how isolated you may feel, there is always an invitation to go deeper. This year was only the beginning. God is not finished with us yet.
Our Word for 2026: Arise and Shine
As we step into a new year, God has given us a clear word:
✨ ARISE AND SHINE ✨
“Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.”
Isaiah 60:1 (NKJV)
This is a call to step forward boldly, to live fully surrendered, and to let the light of Christ shine through every area of our lives.
Let’s keep blooming together.
With faith and love,
Beliya – Founder, Bloomers Community
